Welcome to the Stopping Traffick Volunteer Program! We are excited to have you join us in our mission to combat human trafficking in the state of Alabama along the Gulf Coast.

Your support as a volunteer is instrumental in raising funds to meet the needs of trafficking victims and survivors. Below is an overview of what our volunteer program entails:

Mission and Goals

Stopping Traffick is committed to eradicating human trafficking through prevention, advocacy, and providing support for victims and survivors. Our primary goal is to raise funds to meet the immediate and long-term needs of trafficking victims, with the ultimate aim of opening a facility to provide comprehensive support services.

Volunteer Opportunities

Our volunteer program offers various opportunities for individuals to get involved and contribute to our cause. Some of the volunteer roles include:

  • Organizing Fundraising Events

Assist in organizing and participating in fundraising events such as charity galas, benefit concerts, auctions, and community fundraisers.

  • Donor Outreach

Help us reach out to potential donors, sponsors, and partners to raise awareness about our mission and solicit financial support.

  • Grant Writing

Support our fundraising efforts by researching grant opportunities, writing grant proposals, and assisting with grant applications.

  • Marketing and Communication

Assist with marketing campaigns, social media management, content creation, and other communication efforts to promote our organization and fundraising initiatives.

  • Administrative Support

Provide assistance with administrative tasks such as data entry, volunteer coordination, and general office duties to help keep our organization running smoothly.

Training and Support

As a volunteer, you will receive training and support to ensure that you are well-equipped to carry out your responsibilities effectively. Training may include learning about the issue of human trafficking, understanding our organization’s mission and goals, and familiarizing yourself with fundraising techniques and strategies.

Time Commitment

We understand that everyone has different schedules and availability, so we offer flexible volunteer opportunities to accommodate your needs. Whether you can volunteer for a few hours a week or a few days a month, your contributions are valuable and appreciated.
